Family Surf Lessons Essaouira — kids-friendly coaching in the bay

The bay offers sandy-bottom, forgiving waves and plenty of space—ideal for kids and first-time parents. We keep sessions playful, build confidence with simple goals, and choose tide windows that reduce stress.

Families often have mixed levels. We can split by ability (kids/teens/parents) or run a private family format so everyone progresses at the right pace.

We adapt the session length and coaching style to the child’s age and comfort in the water. For younger kids we use smaller soft boards and keep the water depth shallow. Safety briefings are simple and repeated often.

Morning sessions are usually the cleanest and calmest. If the afternoon is windy, we shorten the session and focus on fun drills instead of fighting messy conditions.
