Pro tips for your surf & kite trip

  1. Timing: Surf early (about 7:30–10:30) when water is glassy. Save kite or wing for the afternoon thermal. See best time to surf and the wind guide.
  2. Wetsuit: 3/2 mm in spring/summer; 4/3 mm in autumn/winter.
  3. Sun protection: Atlantic glare + wind is strong—use high-SPF water-resistant zinc/sunscreen before you paddle out.
